2023 年6月28日, 加拿大公佈了第252 轮抽分结果, 是次为首次在Express Entry 系统中出现指定职业的邀请, 针对的是加拿大的医疗 (Health care) 类别, 向500 个相关行业申请人发出了邀请。
最低抽取分数: 476 分
受邀的职业包括有牙医、营养师、视光师、护士、心理医生、按摩师等, 教育顾问(education counsellors) 也有在内。是次抽分主要是回应移民局早前的劳动力严重短缺的特定行业招收移民。首个受益于移民新政的行业就是医护行业。

值得一提的是, 在23 年5月31日, 加拿大移民司宣佈“快速通道”（Express Entry ）将首次启动基于职业类别的筛选程序（Category-based selection ）。基于职业类别的选拔邀请将重点关注具备以下经历的候选人:
- 具有较强法语能力
- 具有以下领域的工作经历：
医疗护理
科学、技术、工程和数学（STEM）专业
技工行业，如木匠、水管工和承包商
运输业
农业和农产食品业
